Why DailyVeg started
Modern kitchens need fresh ingredients daily, but visiting physical markets takes time, and standard grocery apps often deliver items that have been sitting in cold rooms for days. DailyVeg was created to solve this. We moved the order entry to a clean mobile app and aligned our entire sourcing model to actual daily customer demand.
Our freshness philosophy
Freshness is more important than showing infinite, fake inventory levels. We do not store fresh vegetables or fruits overnight at our facility to sell the next day. Instead, we close ordering today, buy exactly what is required from trusted sourcing partners tonight, and deliver them early tomorrow morning.
How our order-based sourcing works
We focus on reducing unnecessary holding and sourcing based on actual customer demand where possible. Here is our cycle:
1. Demand Collection
Customers browse vegetables, fruits, and greens in the app and order. Order lists are consolidated at cutoff.
2. Night Sourcing
Our ops team sources the items from farm/vendor/market partners based on real demand, avoiding overnight storage.
3. Inspection & Delivery
Early morning, items are sorted for quality, packed, and delivered to supported Ahmedabad addresses.
What we promise
- •Strict sorting: Hand-sorting produce to remove bruised, soft, or damaged items before dispatch.
- •Honest availability: Listing only what is locally active. Availability may change daily based on market conditions.

What we are careful about
Fresh produce varies naturally by season, size, shape, ripeness, and local supply. We do not use chemical ripening agents or artificial wax coats to make items look cosmetically perfect. Because items are perishable, weather or market shortage may affect availability. If anything goes wrong, our refund process is straightforward.
Customer support commitment
We operate an active help desk from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM. If an order is missing items or has quality concerns, customers can contact us with order details and photos. We issue refunds directly rather than complicating issues with bots.
